After eight years of persistent study of Christian Science and the application of it to my every need, I am prepared to state that Christian Science, revealed to this age by Mrs. Eddy, is indeed the divine Comforter our dear Lord promised to all who loved and obeyed him. Mere words cannot express the gratitude I feel for the revelation of this new-old truth. I was almost submerged in sorrow when Christian Science was recommended to me. I did not take up its study for myself, but for a loved one who was suffering. I called a practitioner of Christian Science, who with Christly grace lovingly explained this Science, and taught me how to use it.

When Christian Science found me the world was all dark. I was sick mentally and physically; but to-day I enjoy better health than ever before in my life, and my weight has increased twenty pounds. My children have been grown up for five or six years, and I now have greater strength and endurance than ever before, with a peace of mind I never thought possible in this life. I have had many healings, one of a chronic stomach trouble which had given me much distress since my youth.

I trust this testimony, written from a heart full of gratitude, may encourage some one to press on, as I did when my way was trackless and earth clouds gathereed thick and fast. Be of good cheer; our recompense is sure, even though the way seem rought. He hath said, "I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee."
