I wish to express my deep gratitude to our Father-Mother God, to Christ Jesus, the Way-shower, and to our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, for giving us Christian Science.

For nine years I was an invalid, more or less under medical treatment: then I developed bronchial asthma, also an enlarged spleen and heart trouble. About three years ago, a loving friend came and explained Christian Science to me. Almost immediately I was healed of the asthma and heart trouble; and as I gained spiritual understanding, one difficulty after another left me.

I have always been a Bible student, and have tried to serve God in love; but I soon learned, in Science, that God was more to me than I ever could imagine. I am now just overflowing with love and happiness, and my heart is full of thankfulness to God for sending the dear practitioner who tenderly and patiently led me out of darkness into spiritual light.
