I have never ceased to be thankful that Christian Science came into my life five years ago. Since then I have experienced innumerable blessings. My little girl of five years was healed of chronic constipation through the loving help of a Christian Science practitioner, after one week's treatment; and I was healed of the same complaint in five days. Following this, I began to study earnestly the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy. Since then we have relied solely on Christian Science to heal any disease or discord that has appeared. Some have yielded to our own understanding; others have been overcome with the help of a practitioner, which has always been lovingly given. The following complaints have been healed through the power of Truth: measles, influenza, rheumatism, colds, coughs, stings, toothache, abscesses, blood poisoning, chronic backache, headaches, and indigestion.

I am indeed grateful for all these physical healings; but above all these blessings, my gratitude is deepest for the spiritual regeneration, which has resulted in many faults of character being overcome,—fear, worry, anxiety, criticism of others. My gratitude to Mrs. Eddy is inexpressible for her pure and consecrated life, which enabled her to give this truth to the world. For the loving, patient help that our practitioners are always so ready to give us; for the literature; for membership in The Mother Church and in the Christian Science Society of this city, I am most grateful.
