I have had many beautiful healings in Christian Science, and should like to tell of one, which to me is a convincing proof of God's ever-presence and power. I had been confined to the bed for many days with congestion of the lungs, and had been attended by a physician for some time; but my condition did not improve. I then asked for Christian Science treatment, which was most lovingly given. After the practitioner left I fell into a long, refreshing sleep; and when I awoke, I found that the healing had taken place. I was wonderfully relieved, and could breathe quite freely. I arose, had a good meal, and two days later was able to go to the Wednesday evening testimony meeting, greatly to the surprise of all those around me. I was also healed of a badly sprained ankle in one treatment. Extreme fear, nervousness, and worry have been overcome, as well as an impatient, irritable, and complaining disposition.

For these blessings and many others, I am most grateful to God and to our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy; also for the loving work of the practitioners.
