An honest reading of the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, will show that nowhere is the spiritual meaning of the Holy Scriptures violated or departed from, but rather so truly understood that healings of both sickness and sin consistently and increasingly are experienced by its students. Nobody is asked to choose "between the word of Mrs. Eddy and the word of Jesus Christ," since Christian Science itself is the perception and application of the love of God practiced by the Master in his teaching and healing.
