Early in my experience in Christian Science, while suffering from tired, aching feet, I attended a Christian Science testimony meeting, and was healed while listening to a testimony given by a lady who said she had been healed of the same difficulty. As I listened to this testimony, I felt a great sense of gratitude for the realization of the power of the Word of God, and knew that I was healed.

Another healing for which I shall never cease to be grateful occurred while having treatment from a Christian Science practitioner for a nervous attack from which I was then suffering. I mentioned to her that I had a painful rupture, which had caused me great distress for many years. A few days after this I discovered that every trace of the rupture had disappeared.

Shortly afterwards, on returning to our home after a few hours' absence, we found that some one had entered the house and taken everything of value. We immediately called for Christian Science help. As the practitioner worked, I saw that God's law is the law of Love and fills all space, and that by it "there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed," even the powerlessness of evil. In four days the error was uncovered, to the admitted surprise of the detectives. In the confession, a list of addresses of homes, which were to be entered as ours had been, was given to the detectives. I was thankful that the power of the Word, which blessed us, was also a protection to our neighbors.
