no words convey the demands of righteousness more significantly to the Christian Scientist than do those in the thirteenth chapter of Romans, the eighth and tenth verses: "Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.

the allegorical account of material creation Adam and Eve were permitted to eat freely of the trees of the garden, with the exception of the fruit of the tree which was in the midst of the garden; of it they were forbidden to eat.
Clifford P. Smith, Committee on Publication for The Mother Church,
My attention has been drawn to your editorial headed "As to Vaccination," in which you said, "A Christian Science healer attended a smallpox case, and died.
Theodore Burkhart, Committee on Publication for the State of Oregon,
To think that the future life is of less concern to those who turn to Christian Science than "present physical health and financial prosperity" is to misunderstand or disregard its teaching and practice.
Hugh Stuart Campbell, Committee on Publication for the State of Illinois,
Christian Scientists believe in the divinity of Christ, for Christian Science teaches that Christ is the divine idea, inseparable from God, without beginning or ending, which comes to human consciousness destroying the beliefs of sin, disease, and death.

An article in a recent issue of the Times describing a house built by a spiritualist at San Jose incorrectly states that it had been visited by Mary Baker Eddy.
Willard Joseph Welch, Committee on Publication for Iowa,
An honest reading of the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, will show that nowhere is the spiritual meaning of the Holy Scriptures violated or departed from, but rather so truly understood that healings of both sickness and sin consistently and increasingly are experienced by its students.
How generally does the thought of satisfactory reward present itself to mankind; yet how often do men let their desire for reward hinder their attainment of it! Many a time have they given so much attention to the good they have hoped to receive that they have failed to perform that which would have insured their gaining such good.

Early in my experience in Christian Science, while suffering from tired, aching feet, I attended a Christian Science testimony meeting, and was healed while listening to a testimony given by a lady who said she had been healed of the same difficulty.
It is with the earnest desire to share my blessings and spread the gospel to all the world that I send this testimony of what Christian Science has done for me.
With a profound sense of gratitude for our Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, and as a cup of cold water to others who are longing for refreshment, I wish to give my testimony as to some of the many blessings received through the study and application of Christian Science.
Ever since September 1, 1923, when the disaster of earthquake and fire visited Japan, I have desired to express my sincere thanks to God, our heavenly Father, for His care and presence during that day and the days following; also to our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, for teaching us the way to realize His presence and care as well as protection.
In the six years I have been studying Christian Science my blessings have been so many and great I feel I must tell them to the world, and thereby express a bit of my gratitude to God.
I have had many beautiful healings in Christian Science, and should like to tell of one, which to me is a convincing proof of God's ever-presence and power.
