With a heart filled with gratitude I wish to testify to the great blessings which I have received through Christian Science. Ten years ago, a growth developed on my breast. The doctors whom I consulted told me it was malignant, and advised an operation as the only remedy. Just at that time an acquaintance, to whom I had told my trouble, drew my attention to Christian Science. I asked for treatment, and the case improved so far that the pain ceased; the healing, however, did not progress, as I was unable readily to understand Christian Science, and my consciousness was filled with fear. My husband, who became anxious and impatient on account of the protracted healing, wished me to submit to an operation. A professor at Breslau performed the operation. Like the other doctors he had diagnosed the trouble as cancer. He finally dismissed me with the advice to pray to God that the disease might not return, apparently fearing this would happen.

I was quite healthy for a few years, when the symptoms reappeared. I again asked for Christian Science help from a loving practitioner. Soon the pain stopped; the growth became smaller and smaller; and after I had treatment for about six months, the ailment had entirely disappeared. During this time I was healed of nervous pains which I felt all over my body. I gained visibly in weight, and grew stronger. This has been a great lesson to me to persevere in the endeavor to get nearer to God, who will surely reward us for our efforts.

Words fail to express my gratitude for the many blessings which I have received through Christian Science; for not only I, but also my family, have had many healings, some of which were instantaneous.
