I am sending you the following testimony of blessings received in Christian Science. After I had suffered for many years from what were called nervous headaches, and medical and osteopathic treatment, as well as oculists, had failed to heal me, Christian Science came to me like a loving evangel.

One day, in the fall of 1902, when I was in extreme need of help, a Christian Science practitioner was called to my home. I did not know I was ready to accept Christian Science. I can now understand the fear in the minds of other members of my household, who needed help as much as I myself. The treatment was given, and in the same hour I arose from the couch of pain, realizing that Christian Science was a power I knew nothing about. The first ray of infinite Love had dawned upon my consciousness; and this same Love has continued to give me strength to prevail against every form of evil. The proof was certain; and I began immediately to study "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy. Through patient and persistent effort the healing became perfect and complete; and Love has continued to heal, guide, and direct my way into the path of righteousness.

And what about our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy, whose love and faith in the true God never faltered, and who did not shrink from her duty to give to the world the truth promised by Christ Jesus, as the Comforter, to lead us into spiritual understanding, that demonstrates health, happiness, and holiness to every receptive seeker for good? Every trial of my faith to overcome evil with good has made my ascending path more secure and brighter, according to my obedience to the teachings which Mrs. Eddy brought forth through a labor so righteous that the whole earth is awakening to God's omnipotence. Christian Science is the bright and morning star, whose beams of hope are removing the burden of false sense and lifting the children of men into the peace prepared for those who love God in the way of His appointing.
