About six years ago, having suffered untold agony for more than a year from an attack of chronic rheumatism, and after having employed the best medical aid, whose verdict was that I should never be free from this condition and that I might expect to experience pain at intervals, due to weather conditions, I was unable to look after my business, which, like myself, seemed about ready to collapse. While I was in this seeming state of despondency, Christian Science was brought to my notice. In less than three weeks, through the loving help of a practitioner, I was back at my place of business; and, needless to say to those who have been healed by the understanding of man's relationship to God, as taught in Christian Science, there were no after effects from weather conditions.

I am indeed grateful to Mrs. Eddy for giving us the spiritual interpretation of the Scriptures; for a correct understanding of God will solve every problem.
