I wish to express my deep sense of gratitude for all that Christian Science has done for me. It came into my life about five years ago. At that time my husband was away in France, and our only child was suffering from epileptic fits. For four years she had been under constant medical treatment, but instead of improving she was gradually growing worse. A friend lent me "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy. For three months I read it; also some of the Christian Science literature. I then asked a Christian Science practitioner for treatment for the child, which was very lovingly given. After four weeks' treatment she was completely healed. That was nearly five years ago. The same child also suffered from gastritis. Every fortnight she would be sick for two or three days. That has disappeared through the kind help of the same practitioner.

Christian Science was a wonderful help to me when my husband was away in the fighting line. It lifted all sense of fear from me by showing me how to see man as God's image and likeness. I am also very grateful for the wonderful help Christian Science was to me at the birth of our baby boy. Several years before, I had undergone a severe operation, and my husband, not being a Scientist, was therefore very anxious about my condition; but through the loving help of a practitioner very little pain or discomfort was experienced. For this wonderful demonstration I am indeed grateful, as is also my husband. The little fellow is now one year old, and has never tasted medicine.

I have had many small demonstrations without the help of a practitioner, for which I am truly grateful; also for the better understanding of God and of man as His image and likeness, which I am gaining through the study of Christian Science.—(Mrs.) Lilian Arthur, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.
