That God does care for His children has been proved...
That God does care for His children has been proved in my experience in Christian Science. Upon reaching young womanhood I was tormented by deepest bitterness and resentment, an unhappy disposition, and a great sense of fear, all of which were manifested in outward conditions of lack,—lack of health, of finances, of all that I thought made life most worth while; and I turned to Christian Science for deliverance. As I learned to do willingly and more lovingly the work that came, learned to be grateful that I could earn my way, that I could be active and useful, I finally came into an assured position, with a remuneration which meets my needs. With the change in thought, the healing of bitterness (to a great degree) and of resentment, and greater freedom from fear, there has also come a change in physical conditions. I have changed from a frail girl to a robust woman; and I can truthfully say I am happier than ever before in my experience. The regenerating is still going on, and there is much to be overcome; but I am convinced that the truth will unfold with its attendant blessings, the "fruit of the Spirit," in just the degree that it is sought and practiced.
I am very grateful to those who have helped me so unselfishly; for Truth's beneficence; for God's loving care.
(Miss) Clara I. Landon, Portland, Ore.
