Not until the Carpenter of Nazareth is lifted up, and eyes are turned upon him and ears opened to hear his humane philosophy, will come the peace that passeth understanding. The way out is not through the devious mazes of diplomacy, but up, by hearkening again to the Sermon on the Mount and living thereby; by living the Golden Rule in individual and national life, and by walking in the paths made plain by the fathers and mothers of Israel.
