It is with loving gratitude that I acknowledge the manifold blessings Christian Science has brought to me. Before I had heard of the truth I had been suffering from great mental depression, physical weakness, and fear. I lived in an apprehensive state of dread, always fearful of what each day might hold in store for me. I also suffered continually from a severe form of headache, which condition I had endured since childhood. Many medical men had been consulted about these headaches, but were unable to give me any relief. Quite unexpectedly Christian Science was brought to my notice, and I realized the subject was worth investigating. Shortly after commencing the study of the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, I experienced great relief from headache; also the ever present fear of danger completely disappeared. My general health improved rapidly, and all mental depression became a thing of the past. I have been greatly blessed by instantaneous healings, one of nasal catarrh and another of a varicose vein under the knee.

The blessings I have received through the application of the truth, as taught in our textbook, are numberless. But I think the greatest of all blessings is the assurance that God is good, ever present, and the only power; consequently, evil is not power, never having been created. The members of my family have also received manifold blessings from Christian Science practice; and we have proved it unfailing whenever conscientiously applied.

For all the blessings, joy, and peace which have come into my experience through Christian Science, I am indeed sincerely grateful; also to the noble woman, Mrs. Eddy, who labored to give to the world the sunlight of Truth—Christian Science.—(Mrs.) F. H. Acfield, Derby, England.
