I wish to express my gratitude for the many blessings I have received since I took up the study of Christian Science. This truth knocked at my door for many years before I took it up. I was healed of bowel trouble of many years' standing, and also of wearing glasses, through reading the Christian Science periodicals, before I had ever read the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy. After the passing on of my only son I knew I must get a copy of this book. I had so often read in the Scriptures that God is an ever present help in trouble; and I found I must prove this.

I have had many, many proofs of God's love. I am so grateful for this truth that heals us of sinful thoughts and helps us to love our brother as ourselves. We were able to get a house during seemingly overcrowded conditions. I was healed of influenza in one treatment by a loving practitioner; also of neuralgia. We have never used medicine in our home since we took up this study. I am very grateful to God, to Christ Jesus, the Way-shower, and to our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy, for this blessed truth.
