With deep gratitude I submit my testimony, relating to the blessings and experiences which have come to me through Christian Science. I first heard of it about five years ago, and during this time have received so much good that words are inadequate to express fully my gratitude. I feel God's omnipresent, protecting love everywhere,—in the home and in my profession.

Before coming into Christian Science I lived my daily life aimlessly, without a thought of true Christianity. During the last few years I found myself in deep error, and was in an indescribable condition, out of which I saw no way of escape. Then I heard of Christian Science. The first steps along the new way were very difficult for me, as there was so much which I could not understand; but each time when I was about to turn back, help came. As the problem was too difficult for me alone, God's love led me to a Christian Science practitioner. Here I was privileged to learn, and did learn, much under loving guidance. I understood more and more the love and the truth which uncover and destroy error,—the truth that God does not lead us into temptation. I was completely freed from the evil which was holding me.

To-day, I can say that I have become better, purer, and more loving. I was also healed of nervous pains which appeared frequently, from which I had suffered for several years, and from which the physicians could not free me. These pains extended throughout my entire body; but I suffered especially in my back, arms, legs, and head. The attacks were often so severe that I was scarcely able to move. Through reading "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, and attending the Sunday services and Wednesday evening testimony meetings, I was greatly helped, and the pains vanished almost completely. Then I seemed to have another severe attack, but immediately spoke to a practitioner and had one treatment. That was about four years ago. Since that time I have had no more nervous pains. Frequent headaches have also wholly disappeared.
