It is with deepest love and gratitude to God that I add this testimony to the mighty strain of praise that is ascending to Him all over the world. I became interested in Christian Science after witnessing the healing of a loved one of inflammatory rheumatism. Through the loving help of a dear practitioner and the study of the Bible, together with the writings of our revered Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, I was healed of a throat disease from which I had suffered since early childhood. Mrs. Eddy says in "Miscellaneous Writings" (p. 298), "The true consciousness is the true health;" and in finding this true consciousness I became aware of many mental conditions that needed to be eradicated, conditions that had caused much inconvenience and unhappiness. These all disappeared as right thinking took place.

For these healings and for the many other blessings that both my family and I have received, I am truly grateful. I am especially thankful that I have learned to know, in some measure, my true relation to the divine, saving Principle, Love, which is everywhere blessing mankind in all ways.—(Mrs.) Jennie S.
