Desire

So many times in our human experience, it seems to us that we desire some one particular thing more than all else; and the desiring of that thing seems very logical and right to our human sense. As we gain a greater understanding of God and of His goodness, however, we realize more clearly that, whether we can see the reason or not, the thing we have desired may not be what is best for us at all; for

"God moves in a mysterious way
His wonders to perform."
