I am deeply grateful for Christian Science, and for all it has done for me spiritually as well as physically. I did not take up the study of Christian Science for physical but for spiritual help; although since then I have had, through the work of a practitioner, several healings. One was of sciatica in its most acute form. I was unable to leave my chair, and just able to reach over to the telephone and call up a practitioner. This was about half past seven in the evening. Through her loving help in Science I was able to walk upstairs, and retired about half past nine. The next morning I proceeded with my work and went through the entire day, forgetting entirely that anything had been the matter. I left that evening to visit a friend, and was gone over the week-end without a thought of the disease, as I had been entirely healed.

On another occasion I was suffering from a cold. There was not a part of my body that did not ache. My work required my constant efforts. At noon of this particular day I was compelled to call up a practitioner and ask for help, the pain having become so great. I went back to my work and found I was getting relief. By evening I felt much better. The following day, there were many things to do. I was busy the entire day, and not once did I think of having had a cold.

For these healings, together with the many blessings I have received since taking up the study of Christian Science, and for a better and clearer knowledge of the Bible, I am very grateful.
