As a family, we had lived for many years in bondage to sickness and fear. For fifteen years I suffered from extreme nervousness and continuous severe headache. Following the advice of doctors, I tried different climates, took drugs, and carried out the physicians' instructions; but found myself growing steadily worse. Through what I now realize was divine guidance, I was led to Christian Science. I asked help from a practitioner, and was given treatment. She told me of the allness and loving-kindness of God; and I was so encouraged with the expectation of being healed, that I took up a systematic study of Christian Science. This earnest seeking brought to me not only healing but a higher standard of living and thinking, a more kindly attitude toward all mankind, together with a desire to enlist as a worker in Christian Science.

I am very grateful for class instruction. I have become a better woman in every way through Christian Science. Whereas before, I had no God, no religion, no hope, no health, now I am glad that, cooperating with God, good, I can be of some help in the betterment of all humanity. Experience has taught me that I can do nothing of myself; that it is God, Mind, who doeth the works. This truth is teaching me to let God govern and to be grateful.

This testimony si given lovingly, in gratitude for the benefits which I have received through Christian Science.
