Familiar
stories and passages in the Old Testament take on a new and deeper meaning as thought becomes clarified through the study of divine metaphysics, as taught in Christian Science; and we are thereby led to see how practical and applicable to our everyday need is the Bible, the hidden treasures of which our Leader has unlocked for us through our textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures.
The
account of the ten plagues in the book of Exodus affords much food for thought to the student of Christian Science.
The
gratitude and love which Christian Scientists feel toward their beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, for the blessings which have come into their lives through her discovery of Christian Science and her ceaseless labors for mankind, constitute an important part of their attitude towards Truth.

contemplating the human aspect of salvation, we early see two prominent facts: first, humanity needs to be saved from its errors; secondly, it is of itself insufficient for the task.

Christian Science
is unique among the religious systems of the world in that it declares that evil, including sin and disease, is unreal.

It is only three years since I became interested in Christian Science, yet I have already had many proofs of its blessings, physically and morally.
