Paul's exhortation in I Thessalonians is, "Prove all things; hold fast that which is good;" and in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy we read (p. 15), "Practice not profession, understanding not belief, gain the ear and right hand of omnipotence and they assuredly call down infinite blessings." In my individual experience, since knowing something of Christian Science, I have endeavored to prove each step of the way; and this truth has sustained me through grievous trials, has cured me of severe colds, poor eyesight, and at the birth of my babe, now ten months old, it was a very present help.
