Bath, Maine (First Church).—In introducing a Christian Science lecturer, Mrs. Clarice C. Silsby spoke as follows:—

The psalmist saith: "Be still, and know that I am God." To those seeking to know God, Christian Science comes with manifold blessings. Jesus taught the people that knowing the truth would make them free from discordant conditions. We find Christian Science to be that very same truth; and it reveals the spiritual law used by the great Master in his healing ministry. One of the definitions of the word "science" is, "acknowledged truths and laws." The Science of Christianity is founded on the law of Love, God, who, the Bible says, "will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth."
