For five years previous to January, 1920, I had been afflicted with a complication of diseases known as sugar diabetes, heart trouble, and inward goiter. I was under the care of a number of doctors and specialists who all pronounced the diseases incurable, and who also advised me that inasmuch as my life would be of short duration I should have absolute quiet and follow a strict diet ordered by them, which would probably relieve my sufferings somewhat. I saw no relief from my suffering until one day in January, 1920, I heard friends speak of Christian Science and its wonderful healing powers. I became interested and took up the daily study of the Bible and that wonderful book by Mrs. Eddy, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," with the aid of a practitioner. As I began to study into the meaning of Christian Science and found the wonderful healing and uplifting power therein declared, my health improved with the better understanding I received each day.

I have taken no medicine since coming into Christian Science. To-day I am able to partake of any kind of food and do any work without ill effects resulting. Words cannot express my gratitude for the wonderful healing I have received and the light of righteous understanding which has come to me within the past year through God and Christian Science.—(Mrs.) Alice V.
