I desire to express my gratitude for the healing of my baby, two years old, through Christian Science in April, 1918. While the child was at his grandparents' visiting, he became very ill. Three physicians were called and diagnosed his case as ptomaine poisoning. When I reached his bedside he was unconscious. I took him home and called a Christian Science practitioner. He received immediate relief after the first treatment. In addition to being paralyzed on one side he was totally blind. Through Christian Science he was restored to health, although it was about one year before the perfect healing was manifest. His eyes are perfect and he is now a normal child.

I am indeed grateful to God, and grateful to the Christian Science practitioner who stood by us through these trials. I am even grateful for the slow healing of my child; for during this time I studied "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, and gained a better understanding of God and of man.
