"Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me,...

"Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name." For all the benefits I have received from Christian Science, I can never sufficiently express my thankfulness. The first day I heard a testimony of what Christian Science does, I began to read about it; and, though at first I was a little afraid of it, I have been hourly glad ever since. It has explained the Scriptures, with which I had been always familiar, but which, without the explanation which Mrs. Eddy gives us in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," seemed inadequate as the guide which I felt sure they must be, if I could only understand them.

Christian Science comes as a healer in sickness and a comforter in sorrow. During the last ten years, members of my family and myself have been healed of illnesses both through the kind help of practitioners and through our understanding of Christian Science, and I wish to record my highest feeling of reverence for the Leader who so bravely followed in the footsteps of Christ Jesus, and my deep gratitude for all the kindness we have received from practitioners and friends.
