More than thirty years ago, Christian Science found its way into our home. Prior to that time a so-called throat and lung affection had entered there, and physicians of recognized ability claimed that temporary relief was all that could be expected from them. One day, however (and it appeared to be one of my miserable days), I called on a friend; and this friend said, "I have a book I believe would aid in relieving your trouble, if you care to read it." The offer was gladly accepted, as I was ready and willing to do anything to improve my then discouraging condition. Upon returning home I began the study of this most wonderful book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy; and I soon found a deep interest in this undertaking. In a very short time, through the study of Science and Health, I found that I was completely healed of what error claimed was incurable. Since then, inflammatory rheumatism, from which I was almost helpless, has had to be healed. A Christian Science practitioner had charge of the case; and in about two weeks I was healed of this trouble, again taking care of my regular household duties.

The healing of these and other discordant conditions, through the harmonious action of right thought, has fully convinced me that Christian Science heals when other systems fail.
