I wish to add my testimony of healing through Christian Science. In April, 1919, I became suddenly very ill. My left limb was greatly enlarged (about three times its natural size); and I was not able to move, as my left side was paralyzed and my suffering was intense. At that point I called for a Christian Science practitioner; and, by her clear understanding of the truth, and her faithful and persistent work, I began to be lifted out of this condition. The truth began to dawn upon my thought so clearly that God is the only Life that the fear of passing on completely left me, although those who saw me in this state said it was impossible for me to recover, and if I did I would be left in a helpless condition. Christian Science has since then been my only physician and daily help. I have been through trying circumstances, but Truth has enabled me to do what to the mortal senses would have been impossible. I am now doing from ten to twelve washings and ironings a week, besides my own work, which enables me to keep my two boys in school, one in high school and the other almost ready to enter.

Words cannot express my gratitude for Christian Science, for the faithful work of the practitioner, and to Mrs. Eddy for this beautiful religion that we can make so practical. Christian Science has been my help for twelve years. It has healed me of consumption and sick headaches; it is healing me of loneliness, teaching me to put more trust in God than in man, and meeting my every need. My two boys have had nothing but Christian Science help; and I am truly very grateful.—(Mrs.) Clara Spencer, Walla Walla, Wash.
