During my first week's reading of Science and Health I gained such a concept of Spirit that I knew I did not have to look through matter to see and so laid away my glasses forever, after having worn them ten years. I have also been healed of chronic bowel trouble. When our baby was seven months old she seemed quite ill, so we asked for treatment from a practitioner. For four days the child had every symptom of whooping cough, but ten days after the first discordant condition was manifested she was entirely healed.

I have had many other proofs of God's loving, watchful care, and while grateful for the physical healings I am more grateful for the fact that it has been revealed to me through Christian Science that we have an unfailing source of help to turn to always. I am so grateful that this truth, which is the light that lighteth the world, has come to me.
