With a grateful heart I wish to testify of the many healings I have received through Christian Science. For two years I had frequently suffered from severe toothache, accompanied by swelling of the jaw. I finally consulted a dentist, who said the trouble could only be healed through an operation. I would not consent to this, however, but remembered the healing power of Christian Science, of which I had heard through my family since childhood and through attending the meetings from time to time. Upon request a practitioner gave me Christian Science treatment and since that time I have had no pain or difficulty in this respect.

Later I became seriously ill. I felt severe pain and feared the return of a chronic kidney trouble from which I had suffered greatly. Although my family and I worked together in Christian Science, the following night was a sleepless one and my condition was worse in the morning. I therefore requested the help of a practitioner. Following the third treatment I slept the whole night and awoke the next morning weak but completely free from pain. In the evening I attended the testimony meeting, and returned home refreshed and feeling perfectly well. From that day on I have never had these pains.

In my profession as opera singer I have received many blessings. My family and I have been privileged to experience many more proofs of God's power, through this beautiful truth which Mrs. Eddy has given us. For all this I am heartily thankful to God and grateful to our beloved Leader. My only desire is to grow in the understanding of Christian Science.—(Miss) Idalia Anrig, Zürich, Switzerland.
