Jesus said to his disciples, "When the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me." In the fall of 1908 this Comforter came to me through the teaching of Christian Science, healing me of a very painful ear trouble, rapidly increasing deafness, and many minor difficulties. Far greater than the physical healings was the spiritual uplift, giving me an understanding of the Bible and of Jesus' life and works, which I had always believed in but had not understood. Christian Science is the "pearl of great price." I am sincerely grateful for the unfold blessings that have been mine through it, for membership in The Mother Church, for class instruction, for our periodicals, and for every avenue of good in The Mother Church.—(Mrs.) Edna Mann Reeves, Granite, Ore.
