Some years ago I became interested in Christian Science...
Some years ago I became interested in Christian Science for physical help only. Physicians of different schools of medicine had been tried with no lasting results, and a very serious operation was submitted to, but very little if any relief was experienced. Then I turned to Christian Science. In some ways my healing has been slow, but I was encouraged from the first treatment. I have had great relief from extreme nervousness and have been healed of sleeplessness in a very severe form, also of a throat affection that had attacked me once or twice every winter as far back as I can remember. I have had only one of these attacks since coming into Science and that was some years ago. A broken bone in the foot was entirely healed in little over a week's treatment, and colds and bowel trouble have been proved to have no power. When I first became interested in Christian Science my husband was healed of a severe form of catarrh of the bowels, from which he suffered intensely, through hearing the practitioner voice the truth to me and through reading Science and Health to me.
I am so thankful to God and grateful to Mrs. Eddy for the good I have received that words can hardly express it. The Bible has become a new book to me, and I am realizing more and more that God is good and His promises are sure.
