In Psalms we read, "Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy." I am very grateful for Christian Science, and these words helped me to realize the necessity of saying so. It has healed me of many discordant conditions, some of them considered hopeless. Scarlet fever and several other severe and painful ailments were met and destroyed very quickly and completely in our family this past year. I am grateful for every number of the Journal and Sentinel, for each brings healing by banishing some erroncous concept, and cleansing, purifying, and elevating my mental abode.

I am so thankful for the friendly, clean Monitor with its daily message of cheer and good will to man, overcoming ignorance and its effects, which is true education. I am grateful for the help and comfort which the daily study of the Lesson-Sermon has brought to me while my sons have been in the service of their country, knowing them to be protected in right doing. I am grateful for the immeasurable blessing of class teaching and for the loving help and companionship of those who are traversing with us the path from mortal belief to spiritual understanding. With all these things for which to be grateful, we can well afford when error clamors for recognition to put the finger on the lips and count our blessings, and be thankful to the noble woman, Mrs. Eddy, who was spiritual enough to see, and brave enough to blaze, the trail for a heaven hungry world.
