I shall always be thankful to God and grateful to the dear friend who brought Christian Science into my life about two years ago. At that time I was very sick and hopeless, and sometimes wondered if there was a God. I had suffered from ovarian trouble for some years and had undergone an operation, but it did not relieve me. The doctors had told me that I could not be helped unless I submitted to another operation, and that I dreaded to do after the previous experience. I was, however, completely healed of this trouble after six weeks' treatment in Christian Science, also cured of queasiness. My husband was healed of a stiff arm, the result of a broken bone, and was freed from the tobacco habit of fifteen years' standing by just studying "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy. Christian Science has brought great happiness into our lives. It has been a wonderful help and privilege to serve temporarily as Second Reader in our services this winter, and I am looking forward to having class instruction. I have no words to express my thankfulness to God and to our Leader, Mrs. Eddy, for showing us the way to a demonstrable understanding of Life, Truth, and Love.
