Holland .—From different signs it may be concluded that year by year Christian Science is becoming better understood and more appreciated by the thinking part of our nation, and is rousing less antagonism. This is partly shown by the fewer attacks appearing in the press. During the year corrections were sent to eight papers and periodicals, and in most instances they were published. Translations of articles from the Christian Science periodicals were regularly furnished to the weekly paper "Eenheid."

The War Relief fund this year again has been a blessing to many and has revealed to them God's love and His never failing help. Now that the need is growing more urgent day by day through the rising prices of almost all articles and the unfavorable financial conditions, this fund has kept many from want and enabled them to procure the necessities of life for themselves and their children. Several times we were able by a donation to help people to a new means of making a living, thus enabling them to take care of themselves again.
