I first heard of Christian Science through the healing of my mother, who was freed from a trouble of many years' standing. At the time of my first healing I had never seen Science and Health. I was healed of a swollen and inflamed nose, due to a cold, in one treatment. The year previous I had been treated by a doctor three months for this trouble. Later I found myself about to take a difficult position and asked aid of a Christian Science practitioner for the first week. The demonstration was made, and I held the position until my marriage. When I became a mother Christian Science was again a great help. Our little boy has gained steadily from the first.

For these blessings I am truly thankful. It is surely a privilege to know that God is our strength, that we have divine intelligence to guide and keep us; and lastly to know a little more the meaning of the words "God is love."
