With loving gratitude for blessings received I send this testimony, knowing that some one will be helped by it. After suffering mentally and physically for a long time I was led to Christian Science. I would not try it, however, until the doctor said I would never entirely recover from the physical ills and the sense of sorrow became unbearable. The dear friend who urged me to give Christian Science a trial, assured me that the sorrow would leave if I had treatments. I thought I could bear the physical ills if the sorrow would only depart, so at last I went to a practitioner. When I informed her that the doctors said I had heart trouble, her spiritual insight told her the cause. After two weeks' treatment the mortal belief of cause and effect was entirely destroyed and I was free. Since that time I have been able to walk many miles a day, climb hills, play tennis, and do many other things requiring exertion, with no bad effects, although the doctor had said I should never be able to do them again.

A daily study of Christian Science literature brings with it healing from errors of every kind. This study is so emptying my consciousness of error and filling it with love, that I have been enabled to some extent to help others. For this truth I am very grateful to Christ Jesus, the Way-shower, also to Mrs. Eddy, who worked for us so unselfishly, and to those friends who helped me in the way.
