It is with pleasure that I take the opportunity to give my testimony of healing. I turned to Christian Science for treatment through the advice of a friend. I had suffered for about eight years with what was termed a chronic gastric trouble, which aggravated organic heart disease and all the miserable attendant conditions, such as nervous exhaustion, melancholia, and bowel disorder. Treatment by doctors of different schools failed to give me any permanent relief, and I continually got worse, never better. My friend, in recommending Christian Science treatment, stated that "man's extremity is God's opportunity," and so it proved; for I was healed of the stomach trouble and attendant conditions in about six treatments. I have also been healed of having to wear glasses, after using them for about ten years. I had my first Christian Science treatment in June, 1914; since that time I have not taken medicine or had treatment of any other kind. I find that divine Love does meet every need of mankind, and I am now enjoying life, whereas before coming to Christian Science I eked out a miserable existence. I am indeed thankful to God, and grateful to Mrs. Eddy for this healing truth.
