Every day I feel grateful for the privilege of being a student...
Every day I feel grateful for the privilege of being a student of Christian Science. After having been sick for three years, and having tried almost every known remedy, I turned to Christian Science and was healed through a simple perusal of the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy. I had read only a few pages when my glasses began to annoy me, so I took them off and have never had any need of them since. That was three years ago. I am grateful for this healing, but more so for the spiritual uplift and the understanding of God and His goodness. Christian Science is our only physician, and many discordant conditions have been overcome for my children and myself. Our understanding has been opened to know that God is an ever present help in trouble. For all these blessings I owe endless thankfulness to God and to Jesus the Way-shower, as well as gratitude to our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy, who has revealed to us this beautiful truth that makes free.—(Mrs.) A. Gertrude Schanze, Baltimore, Md.
