It is about three years since I took up the study of Christian Science, and words can never tell the deep gratitude I feel for the many blessings I have received. It seemed to me that I was on the darkest road that ever was or could be. There did not seem to be anything left to live for me. I was suffering nothing but illness and worry in life for me. I was suffering from kidney trouble which finally took form in my thought as tubercular disease, and this worried me so much that I could not sleep nights. I was so miserable that I became afraid of losing my reason entirely. I was also troubled with fainting spells at night. After consulting two doctors and getting no relief, I was about to give up in despair when Christian Science found me. I thank God that I am able to say I am a well man to-day and enjoy better health and more real happiness than I ever thought of before. All the former conditions have left me, together with many minor ailments. I have been using since my slight understanding of the truth to leave off glasses, also to give up the use of tobacco, which I had been using since I was a boy.

For all these things I am indeed very grateful, but much more grateful for the spiritual uplift and the beautiful thoughts that come to me every day. There are many errors still to overcome, but I know that God is ever with us and that each error overcome helps us to prove for ourselves that He is always caring for us. I am very grateful for this wonderful truth and to all those who have helped me. I hope to be able some day to help others as I have been helped. My blessings are piling up every day.
