I gratefully submit the following testimony in the hope that it may help some one as I have been helped by reading the testimonies in the Sentinel and Journal.

Before I became interested in Christian Science, I called on some Christian Science friends in Denver one day when I was suffering from a severe cold. When I left their house I became suddenly conscious of the fact that I had no cold—I had been healed. This seemed so strange that I did not forget it. Several years later, after I had gained some understanding of Christian Science, I realized that it was the true thinking of these friends which had healed me. It is my one desire that I, too, may live consciously in this atmosphere of divine Truth, so that wherever my thought may rest it may carry a blessing.

When Christian Science found me six years ago I had been given up by the doctors, who said that nothing more could be done for me, although I might live six months longer by going to the Hawaiian Islands. I had been a semiinvalid all my life, had undergone five major operations, tried change of climate and other supposed means of relief, but all without lasting benefit. Through the teachings of Christian Science I am now free from pain for the first time in my life. In proportion to my realization that health is of God, good, not matter, I gained physical freedom; but as grateful as I am for the liberation from pain, it is for the spiritual uplift that I shall never cease to offer up praise to God. I have been instantaneously healed of many ailments, including hornet stings, sore eyes, sprained ankles, by knowing the truth promptly. One evening my little nephew, who lives with me, came home from school complaining of chills and fever. He wanted to go to bed at once, but I told him to read the Christian Science Bible Lesson for the week first. He did so, and when he finished he got up and began to play. He had forgotten all about being ill.
