In 1912, when in a desperate condition both in mind and body, I was persuaded to try Christian Science. It seemed as if everything was the matter. I suffered from gallstones, weak heart, internal derangement, and lots of other things, among them stomach trouble. I was healed of the last named difficulty in two treatments and of all the other ills, except one, in six weeks; that one left me gradually. Christian Science is everything to me and to my children. They have received many blessings and are still receiving them. Many times the beautiful proofs of God's love gained through my understanding of Science and Health have enabled me to help others and so live the truth. I am very grateful to the one who first mentioned Christian Science to me, and for the help received from Christian Science friends. My love and gratitude also go out to our Leader, Mrs. Eddy.
