With love to God and gratitude to Mrs. Eddy I send this testimony of some of the blessings that have come to me through the study of Christian Science. Over four years ago I was stricken with what the doctors called paralysis, which resulted in my left arm hanging helpless at my side. I tried physicians of three different states, and underwent their treatments without benefit, until eventually each one declared the case hopeless. Then Christian Science was mentioned to me by one who had been reared an orthodox Jewess, and who is now my wife. She was not at the time interested in Christian Science, but has become so since my healing.

Although living in Iowa, I had absent treatment from a practitioner in Cincinnati and was completely healed in ten days. At the same time glasses were discarded after I had used them for six years, and a severe case of blood poisoning was overcome in five days. The smoking habit was the last to yield. One day, however, I felt that I really desired to be healed and asked for help, and in three days I was completely freed. My daily prayer is to know more of this truth.—Gus Hansen, Cincinnati, Ohio.
