With a heart overflowing with thankfulness to God I write this testimony of my healing of stomach trouble and bowel disorder through Christian Science. Many other ailments too have disappeared like a mist before the sun. Medicine had been taken almost daily for years, without benefit, but when I first heard of the healing work being done through Christian Science, I turned a deaf ear. Finally a daughter in Texas was healed of serious troubles through the power of Truth, and she said I could be healed too. It did not seem possible that one so ill could be helped in such a short time, but with treatment from a practitioner I was healed in two days, and the happiness that came to me cannot be expressed in words. My hearing too has been restored. There was a bunion on the joint of my big toe, which gave me a lot of trouble in winter, but I was instantly healed of this two years ago through the realization of the truth expressed in Mrs. Eddy's statement on page 393 of Science and Health, "Have no fear that matter can ache, swell, and be inflamed as the result of a law of any kind, when it is self-evident that matter can have no pain nor inflammation."

I am thankful for Christian Science, which has taught me that God heals all our diseases, and grateful for what Mrs. Eddy has done for all the human family through her writings. The articles in the periodicals have been a great help to me, and my desire is that I may be the means of helping some one in need. My daily prayer is that the true light of God may guide and direct me in all I do.
