Each day brings fresh occasion for gratitude that Christian Science has come into my life. I have experienced physical healing many times. Weak ankles, sleeplessness, a broken arm that had remained practically useless for many years despite the untiring efforts of physicians, besides poisoning and burns,—all have yielded to the application of the truth, and I am grateful. Strange as it may seem, however, the physical healings did not mean much to me till I realized that they were proofs of the presence now of the God "who healeth all thy diseases." It was to learn of this God that I then began to study the Bible and the Christian Science text-book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, and I am even more grateful for the understanding of God that has come to me than for relief from physical ills. There have been times when the storms encountered seemed almost more than I could withstand, yet always peace has come after the storm, and on looking back I could see gain even when outwardly there had seemed only loss.

Those of us who do not have the privilege of church attendance are daily grateful to our Leader for the loving thought which reached out to plan blessings for one and all. The Monitor, the Journal, the Sentinel, and the Quarterly come to us regularly with help for all our needs. I wish to express my gratitude to all who make the periodicals possible for us. Class instruction too has meant much to me.

Mrs. Jennie Gar Fones Grant, La Pryor, Texas.
