I am profoundly grateful to Christian Science for all the physical and moral benefits received through its ministrations. As a result of convulsions at the age of sixteen months, my daughter was left with one leg paralyzed and much shorter than the other. The doctors whom I consulted could do nothing to improve this condition, but rather impressed upon me the fact that it would grow worse, and that there was a danger of meningitis setting in. When the child was five years old I heard of Christian Science, and was told that she could be healed. Treatment was given, and although the healing was slow, my little girl is today completely restored. The leg is of normal length, and she walks with ease. It makes me feel very happy to be able to trust my child to God, knowing that He will lead her into the way of truth.
As for myself, I was in a state of depression and of almost constant fear. When it was explained to me that this condition was not according to God's will, and that through realizing man's divine heritage it would be taken care of, I felt sure that I had come upon the truth. Every day I strive to realize that divine Love is the only cause and the only creator, and a sense of peace and joy has come into my life which formerly was unknown to me. I cannot adequately express my gratitude to Christian Science.
