I am indeed most grateful for all that Christian Science has done for me. A few years ago I was suffering from the effects of premature childbirth, which was followed by bloodpoisoning, and the physicians said that only an immediate operation could possibly save my life. In desperation and intense suffering I consented to try Christian Science. A practitioner was summoned, and almost at once I fell into a natural sleep, to awaken a few hours later refreshed and greatly improved. The gain was rapid from the first, and at the end of a week every discordant condition had been corrected. In a short time I was entirely healed and about my household duties.

This was such a wonderful proof of the omnipotence and omnipresence of God, that both my husband and I began the earnest study of Christian Science, and we have had so many beautiful demonstrations over error of all sorts that our hearts are full of thankfulness to God for His infinite blessings. We are also grateful to Mrs. Eddy, who has pointed out the way so clearly for us. Every day brings blessings in increasing numbers. One day, during a conversation with the practitioner about some other condition to be overcome, I was healed of inaction of the liver and its resulting inharmonious conditions. My gratitude for Christian Science is boundless.—Lucy M. Rawson, Douglas, Ariz.
