I wish to tell of my healing in Christian Science after passing through years of ill health. At one time I scarcely left my chair for about three years. Then five years later I came to see, almost suddenly, that there was no recovery for me through anything that could be done in a material way. I had made great efforts for health, but all had failed. I then for the first time heard of Christian Science, but on account of the way it was put before me I thought it was not for me.

In a very short time after this I read a pamphlet from The Christian Science Publishing Society, telling of the healing done in Christian Science. Just before I read this it had dawned upon me, from what I had been told, that I was well, but I did not know how to hold to it. But as I read of another's experience, coming into health from ill health, I held to the truth that was given there, and it stayed with me. I did not sleep for two nights, but each day got up feeling stronger. The third night I rested better, and the next day realized that I was perfectly well. The food that had not seemed sufficient for me was all I needed, for the truth stayed with me. I was so happy that people said I was all new and that they never saw any one so changed.
