I had known only a few days that there was a religion called Christian Science, before I heard it explained to my mother by a friend. After listening to this friend for a short time, I seemed to be in a dream, all she was saying sounded so wounderful. For three weeks after that I thought of God as my strength; as divine Love, in whom I lived and moved and had my being. At the end of that time I was perfectly healed of all my sufferings. Then I got the text-book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, and for six years I have relied on God, as revealed to me through the study of Christian Science, for the overcoming of all discord. I am grateful for the freedom form fear, which formerly seemed to manifest itself so frequently, especially the fear that I would not always have the needed supply.

Three years ago my daughter (aged ten) had a had attack of acute lung trouble. I telephoned to a Christian Science practitioner for treatment, and when the disease should have been at its worst, according to material law, my child was out on the veranda playing with other children. Words cannot express my thankfulness to God for all the good that has come into my life since I turned to Christian Science, or my gratitude to our Leader, Mrs. Eddy, for having brought the truth to mankind.
