I can no longer delay giving my testimony of healing in Christian Science, and telling of the great blessing and peace which came with it. For years I was a semiinvalid, and although under medical treatment a good deal of the time, my condition grew steadily worse. In consequence, a serious illness set in, and a consultation of doctores did not reveal the cause of the trouble.

About this time my son passed through a critical illness, which was said to have left him with leakage of the heart. Doctors could not relieve him, and we finally persuaded him to try Christian Science. In ten days he was completely healed, and able to return to his home and occupation a well man. This healing led me to begin the study of the text-book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, and I absorbed the truth and got the understanding in a wonderful way. I had treatment for about two weeks, and awoke one morning perfectly healed. My heart was filled with deep gratitude for the freedom from pain which I experienced, but the unfolding of spiritual understanding transformed my whole being and brought such happiness and peace into my life as I had never known before.

Since early girlhood I had been a church member, but was not satisfied with my religion. I had gone through many series of revival services, hoping and praying that God might reveal Himself to me; but not until divine Love, of which I had never known, filled my consciousness and made me "every whit whole," could I truly say, "I am satisfied."
